　　随着年龄的增长，人的新陈代谢减慢，皮脂腺分泌、贺尔蒙等都发生了变化。从皮脂腺分泌来看，一般人活动后，汗水排出与油脂分泌经分解后会产生味道，但这味道可通过清洗来消除。老年人活动力减退或者有疾病影响体内代谢，清洗次数减少，代谢后造成角质逐渐累积，受到细菌分解时开始产生气味，而气味中含有一种叫“2–壬烯醛”的成分，是“老人味”不好闻的主要原因。

　　想消除“老人味”，要从日常清洁保养做起。年长者因活动量少，洗澡清洁较少，造成角质累积，建议先提高洗澡次数来改善。
　　清洗时，要加强清洁角质容易堆积处如脖子、后背、腋下等，也要定期适度去角质。清洗后使用保湿乳液涂擦，帮助皮肤保水、油水分泌调整。
　　洗完要一同换掉内衣，方便话话连同寝室内的床单也一同换洗。内衣要选择柔软、透气好的棉质衣物。
　　平常要适度让房间通风，可避免味道在室内存留。

　　饮食对体味有很大的影响，一般浓烈的体味常与食用味道较刺激的食物有关，如吃大蒜、洋葱、韭菜，以及味道较重的辛香料与肉品等。为减少体味，要避免食用这类食物。
　　日常饮食可多补充含维生素C和维生素E的蔬果，利于身体代谢及抗氧化！如多吃些甜椒、红苋菜、番茄、奇异果、橙子等；而坚果如杏仁，多吃些，也对身体大有脾益！
